Carl formed his own construction business in 1990, now benefiting from over 35 years’ experience in the industry. During this time Carl has been involved in all types of construction project from domestic extensions to now primarily specialising in bespoke high-end homes across the South West. Many of these projects are designed ‘in-house’ where Carl is able to offer his extensive experience to the design team through support and advice in areas such as construction methodology, and design and build coordination.

As well as his involvement with NDM Architects, Carl also runs the domestic construction arm of the ‘SHAPE’ Group Family through NBC Ltd.

Outside of work, Carl enjoys skiing in the winter and sailing in the summer along the south coast.
