Elizabeth Taylor
CHARTERED ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST MCIAT
Following a successful apprenticeship and subsequent professional practice portfolio Elizabeth has been a full member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists since 2004. Working in practice from the outset resulted in early on-site and client / builder engagement and an excellent foundation and understanding of Architectural practice and the wider construction industry. Working alongside Architects, Developers & Private Clients on a variety of projects in South Wales, including extensions, internal remodelling, barn conversions, listed buildings and small & large scale housing developments, always striving for technical excellence.
Starting her own Architectural practice in 2010, first in South Wales and then in the South West, provided the opportunity to work independently on a number of projects including new houses, holiday lets, flats and agricultural buildings, gaining an LABC Award for Excellence in 2011 for outstanding specification on a barn conversion situated in the Gower AONB.
In 2020 Elizabeth joined NDM Architects seeking to apply her wealth of experience within a larger team and believes that successful relationships with the Client and the wider design team are key to the success of a project.
Outside of work Elizabeth enjoys gardening and torturing her young family with her piano playing!
