James completed his HNC in 2010 and subsequently worked for a small practice in Exeter specialising mainly in domestic extensions and internal remodelling.

James joined NDM Architects in 2019 and has since worked on a variety of projects from barn conversions to bespoke new build homes incorporating planning and building regulation applications. James has a particular interest in timber frame construction and has played a key role in delivering these projects on site. James’ strengths lie in his technical knowledge, providing many of the detailed construction drawings for a range of different projects.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his wife and toddler. He also has a keen interest in film and working on his garden even though he doesn’t have the greenest of fingers!
