A bespoke replacement dwelling looking out over the Dorset countryside, Wild Swans was designed to maximise the sites south facing views. The three rectangular structures are angled to each frame a different view, merging at the double height glazed entrance on the northern elevation. Working with the natural slope of the site the dwelling is split over 3 levels with the entrance and study sitting between the living spaces at the lower level and bedrooms at the upper level. The combination of the natural slate roof covering with the render and stone external walls helps to create a contemporary dwelling which also complements the surrounding buildings.
